 | Suprise Attack on Amsterdam |
What a shocker. suprise weekend a-go-go. I suppose im just gonna have to explain.
After a very boozy thursday evening in the houses of parliment, and a very drunken Friday night with Mr M'knackers, saturday was set to be
a day of rest.
This, however wasn't gonna happen. We started the day by grabbing some food in the raven , and a quick drinky, as soon as it opened. Grabbed some take-out
Smirnoff Ice and went to watch Bertie play rugby. Bert was sick on the pitch in the first half (shame i didnt get that on Camera), and then had to sub himself due to shoulder injury.
After the Game we left Bertie to Shower with his new friends and made our way to the Raven. Filthy drinks abounded until Rex arrived, then things got really messy. Drinks included "Vodka Redbull , Mescal , Absinthe" and other such abominations.
Someone said we should go to Amsterdam to finish the night off, so we asked the bar staff for the yellow pages , got hold of KLM and found the last flight that was available that night ....in 40mins time !
Taxis were called and we legged it home to get passports. No bags were allowed , just the clothes you were wearing and a jacket. We made the flight by the skin of our teeth and i even managed to shoe a Bacardi breezer in the departure lounge.
Ed gibbered at the passenger next to him for the whole flight and spilt his red wine all over bully . The guy next to them turned out to be from amsterdam and gave us a load of Coffee shops / bars that we should visit and places to get hotels , what a geeezaaar!
this proved invaluable when we got straight into the red light district with the express intention of getting thoroughly bolloxed. Coffee shops and beer followed in equal proportions until we had to retire.
Bully was sedated enough by the White Widow, that we didnt have to stop him making a bolt for the Whores at any point.
The following day saw us get up far too early and visit the hash museum...luuurvely , where we met the chap in the white coat in the photos , and took part in his vapourizer demonstration. That put us properly on track from the rest of the day. The blue bird coffee shop was nice, where you can hire a bong :) WOOF.
Loads more coffe shopping and pubbing occured , plus lots of eating ...except for bully . We accidentally set the fire alarm off in the hotel too . oopsie ..heheh.
Managed eventually to get back to London on Monday evening and into the raven , where it all started. The Bar staff who witnessed our departure were suitably shocked to hear we did actually make the flight to Amsterdam.
