Work Trip to Nice..
Ben and Jim get a proper chance at really letting their country down. Weather was gorgeous..the food was fantastic , well apart from the Red Snapper, which gave jim some serious wind for about 3 days.
Lovely. The Beer was for the most part quite cheap, the sea was lovely to swim in..e.t.c.
here follows a brief course of events:
Friday: Beers at airport, safe flight over followed by Lobster and Steak at a port side bistro. Much wine drank. After dinner ,
off to a couple of Bars for cocktails, pernod and beer..Thoraya introduces us to some of her friends...who happen to have some strong views about Fox hunting.
This, coupled with the Red Snapper he just ate... disagrees with Jim ..dribbling occurs so jim and ben head for a club. Meet two irish girls, and run away cos they're weird. After wandering round the beach Ben and Jim retire.
Saturday: Up early for Outrageously extravagant breakfast, then off for a wander . Jim and Ben find some lovely places to hole up and
get slowly Shitfaced. Then get burnt on a boat trip , meet some American Girls ...get them shitfaced..wander off and go for a swim in the sea.
Dinner at a lovely Cafe, followed by Beers at various cafes. Meet a Odd irish barmaid after a particularly filthy Long Island Ice tea.. and then Run away.
more drinking in the old town occurs as Jim and Ben get refused entry to an English pub. (we really did let our country down).
Hang around the beach drinking beer and met more American Gals, Jim gets completely naked and wanders into the drink. Ben Picks two of them up and charges in fully clothed.
. The rest of the girls giggle and steal jims clothes. Ben pursues and retrieves clothes.
Further drinking..
not sure about the rest ..i know jim had a kebab tho ..
Sunday : Felt more than slighty on the Ropey side.. so down to the beach for beers and smoked salmon.
